Exponential increases in both the bandwidth and diffusion (via Technology) in the communication and transmission of semiotic signs that increases both the fidelity (realism) and global reach [LINK];
The disintermediation of the act of Being and participation in Reality via the growth in knowledge workers where the abstraction, manipulation, interpretation, understanding and inference of Semiotic Signs is increasingly decoupled from their practical effects from Being in the World [LINK]. Or stated differently, there is a deconstruction in Peirce’s Semiotic Triadic [LINK] where the Pragmatic Maxim [LINK] is no longer applied - the meaning of the abstract concept is no longer coupled to it’s practical effect. A collapse in the Metaphysical Geometric Unity [LINK] of Being, Knowing, and Meaning [LINK] and Sense of Coherence [LINK] that occurs over three phenomenological modes of Being (Peirce - Categories of Thought) [LINK];
Exponential adoption of Semiotic Sign Machines (i.e. Computers [LINK]) including Large Language Models [LINK] driven by exponential increases in Computation & Data [LINK];
Extension of Human Consciousness beyond the Body via Technology (e.g. iPhones, VR/AR etc.) [LINK] [LINK];
Embracement of Semiotic Sign Business Models (e.g. LLMs, Social Media, Youtube, Metaverse, Podcasts, Virtual Reality, Gaming etc.) that support the growth in the Attention Economy [LINK] and result in more & more time spent in this Digital World including a greater dependency on technology to do cognitive tasks [LINK];
Development of a Semiotic Industrial Complex [LINK] [LINK] that manipulates and shapes citizen’s perception of Reality [LINK] [LINK] [LINK];
Shifts in Government Regulation that remove restrictions on the use of Propaganda [LINK] [LINK] on its citizens or censors & shapes acceptable free speech [LINK] [LINK];
Concentration and control of the Public Sphere [LINK] by large Corporations [LINK];
Increasing embracement of Hobbesian Political Philosophy by Governments around the World [LINK]. Socialism, Communism, Fascism, Corporatism, Market State, State Capitalism, and Globalism are examples of Collectivist Social Structures and increasing centralisation of control & power in Government and Trans National Organisations;
Embracement of Algorithmic Governance [LINK] [LINK] despite the emergent nature of Being in the World [LINK];
Embracement of a Technology Society [LINK] and Technology System [LINK] including inter-alia Social Credit Scores [LINK] and Digital Currencies [LINK]; and
Endemic embracement of a Philosophy of Mechanisation [LINK]
has resulted in Cognitive Liberty becoming a foundational metaphysical and human rights issue of the 21st Century.

Through the manipulation of Human Being’s perception of Reality via Semiotic Signs, Marxist ideology and more & more abstraction (i.e. a Modern & Post-Modern mental structure interpretation of Reality - e.g. Cartesianism, Idealism, Nietzschean Perspectivism etc. ) are we literally constructing a Tower of Babel and eroding our Sense of Coherence [LINK] where increasingly people’s belief’s no longer have any nexus to an underlying Reality grounded in our embodied Being in the World and lived experience?
